Boosters Grants in Action

Thanks to your support the Boosters organization was able to fulfill multiple uniform and equipment grants during the 2021-22 school year. Your donations provided new uniforms and gear for girls basketball, girls soccer, boys soccer, wrestling, baseball, softball, and cheer. Equipment grants included new sticks for girls lacrosse; new softball helmets, balls, and caddies; plus a new pitching machine, balls, and a Sequoia-branded outfield fence for the baseball team.

Our tennis courts got an upgrade with new windscreens full of Sequoia pride, and the track and field program received new pole vault equipment. Sequoia football attracted a record number of participants this summer and a Boosters grant was used to fund helmets for the new players.

Boosters provided funds for a strength and conditioning coach and the HUDL app, (both of which benefit multiple sports programs), buses to away events when possible, and scholarships for 6 deserving young adults. Your contributions to our 2021-22 Fund-A-Need grants resulted in 4 field benches for the football, soccer, lacrosse, and track field. New scoreboards for the softball and baseball fields are in the works and due to be installed before the spring season.

Thank you to all who joined us as platinum, gold, silver, purple, redwood, and Raven members, donated and bid on Not-So-Crabby auction packages, volunteered in the snack, and purchased spirit gear. You are helping to give Sequoia students the best sports experience possible!

The Boosters 2022-23 fundraising goal is $200,000 – and beyond! Join the Boosters or renew your membership at DONATE and explore ways to get involved at VOLUNTEER. Coaches should attend the Boosters monthly meetings to present their GRANT REQUESTS.

We can’t wait to see what our student-athletes can do with your support this year!

Go Purple! Go Ravens!
